Plaża Triopetra

Plaża Triopetra is sandy, with crystal clear waters and breathtaking sunsets. In the distance, you may even be able to spot the island of Gavdos! It is the perfect setting for a peaceful and relaxing swim without the busy crowds. Its name comes from its dominating feature: three impressive and slippery rocks that emerge from the blue sea and envelop it from all sides. The two main strands are referred to as “large” (west side) and “small” (east side). Essentially, this natural division is due to the small and rocky promontory that separates the two bays. At the edge of the promontory, we find the three impressively high rocks that create this fascinating setting. Next to the rocks, there is a beautiful and spacious cave, which you can visit. During certain times of the day, the cave offers natural shade to visitors. This relaxing beach is also home to yoga retreats during the summer months. YogaRocks, which is named after the stunning rocky formations found on the beach, offers accommodation nearby and lessons on the beach; at night meditation sessions take place by the shore, under the starry sky. Przemieszczając się na zachód od Triopetramożna natknąć się na plaże Ligres, Katsouni, Podare, Agia Foteini oraz Gialopotamaprzed osiągnięciem Preveli. Droga prowadzi w głąb lądu, przez różne urokliwe wioski; pamiętaj, aby oszacować dodatkowy czas jazdy przez wąskie drogi. Odległość między Preveli oraz Triopetra wynosi 20 km i zajmuje około 40 minut. Na wschód od Triopetraznajdujemy popularną nadmorską osadę Agios Pavlos.
