Historical & Folklore Museum of Therissos – Chania

The Muzeum historyczne i folklorystyczne w Therissos w prefekturze Chania, został założony w 1985 roku i mieści się w dawnej siedzibie głównej Eleftherios Venizelos. Wioska TherissosJest znany z roli, jaką odegrał podczas ruchu na rzecz zjednoczenia Krety z Grecją w 1908 roku.

One of the most important exhibits found in the museum is the flag of the movement bearing the phrase “Therisso 1905” as well as the original press used to print the newspapers circulated at the time with news about the resistance.
