E4 European Path at Lasithi

E4_logo_crete_small

The E4 trail explores the Lasithi plateau and adjacent smaller ones like Limnakaro, Omalos Viannou and Katharo. The trail passes through landscapes of rare beauty – such as the Selakano forest, runs on through the Ierapetra region and that of Makrygialos, crosses the mountains of Siteia to reach Kato Zakro at the very east seaboard of Crete. Here it turns north to complete its course back up to Siteia.

Do not forget to read the  Helpful Suggestions for the E4 route in Crete. For the best sightseeing though, use the menuThe E4 Routes’ at the left, arranged by Prefecture, or search the Smart Search faculty.
