Housed in a 400-hundred year-old Venetian mansion with a garden and a romantic courtyard, Avli serves local dishes and delicacies from Crete and the Mediterranean area, for food-connoisseurs.     From Heraklion
    As you approach Rethymnon from the Heraklion airport (along the New national road), take the 2nd exit where you'll see the sign "Atsipopoulo/Rethymnon" (you'll see a junction) and drive towards Rethymnon town. Follow the road to the right onto Stamathioudaki street. Straight ahead (approximately 2 km), till you see "Periferiakos" (ringroad) / Kefalogiannidon. At the extending on your left,  there ia a turn towards Fortezza (castle) / Venetian port, (along the sea). Follow Emanuel Kefalogianni Str. (ring road) around the castle, until you reach the port. After having passed the port, follow onto Arkadiou street (you'll see the Anek Lines office on your right). A few meters straight ahead, turn into Salaminos street (this street will change name to Melisinou Str.). Continue for 100 m., where you will turn left into Xanthoudidou (alley). Avli is located on your right, 20m down the alley. (there is a pedestrian street, as well no vehicles are allowed to drive along this alley).

    From Chania
    As you approach Rethymnon from Chania (along the New national road), take the exit where you'll see the sign "Atsipopoulo/Rethymno" (you'll see a junction) and drive towards Rethymnon town. Follow road to the right onto Stamathioudaki street. Straight ahead (approximately 2 km), till you see "Periferiakos" (ringroad) / Kefalogiannidon.
    Follow the same steps as described above to meet Avli.
