Villa Kerasia is located at the settlement of Vlahiana, close to the town of Heraklion. It lies at the southeast foot of Mount Psiloritis, amphitheatrically located at an altitude of 580 meter, overlooking the villages of Kerasia, Venerato, and Avgeniki. Villa Kerasia is a registered villa in Crete and offers a wide range of quality services.
Villa Kerasia is built in secluded areas offering luxury and privacy, far from busy and noisy crowds. The staff takes care of all your needs, for a relaxing and worry-free stay, just as you expected. You can be served with a variety of wines at the pool while villa's chef can prepare delicious meals, previously arranged with you. All dishes are prepared using fresh local products. Villa offers traditional Cretan cuisine, a variety of appetizers, as well as specially-prepared dishes for vegetarians and diabetics.
The area’s breathtaking natural beauty is accentuated by the intense morphological contrast of the terrain and the vineyards that embrace the settlement, along with the intrinsic beauty and sweeping views of the gorges at Ano Asites, Agia Irini and Venerato. The area is ideal for walking through the old trails leading to nearby Byzantine churches.
You may also join organised climbing groups to Psiloritis.
Within a short distance from the villa and the general settlement, there is the archaeological site of Ancient Rizinia. The location of Rizinia on top of a hill, at about the centre of Crete and midway between the two large Minoan cities of Knossos and Faistos, was of great strategic importance.
Villa Kerasia enjoys panoramic view over the areas of Kerasia, Venerato and Avgeniki. It offers traditional Cretan breakfast, a pool with hydromassage jets and rooms with mountain or garden views.
So, you can relax at the pool-side terrace and enjoy the views of Mount Psiloritis and the surrounding countryside from the comfort of the sun beds.
Staying in a villa versus staying in a hotel couldn’t be more different. Villa Kerasia consists of five double rooms hosting 2 up to 3 persons each one and two suites that each can accommodate 2 up to 3 or 4 persons.
