On the island of Crete, between the sea and the picturesque village of Kamilari, is situated the stone made traditional Villa Kamilari which is built in 1903 and renovated by attention to detail in 2004.
The villa offers the cosiness of a private home rather than that of a temporary lodging. In that respect, it has its own personality which is reflected in its architecture and the traditional furnishing. The house offers comfortable space from 2 to 6 persons.
The entrance to the house area leads to a private parking and a small garden with an open sitting area. Entering the house, there is a spacious living-room with a fireplace, traditional pieces of furniture and an antique piano.
At the back side of the villa in front of the living room, you can relax on the sunbeds of the outdoor swimming pool or have a barbeque in the garden. Alternatively, there is also an outdoor dining area overlooking the pool. All the outside parts of the house have a total privacy and quiet.
All necessary shops, taverns, cafenions, mini-markets, gift shops, 'rent a car' can be easily found in the village Kamilari, while close to Villa, there are the wonderful beaches of the south coast of Matala, Kalamaki and Komos and many important archaeological sites. The area is filled with natural beauty and offer you an unforgettable stay!
Villa Kamilari is traditionally decorated and offers a spacious living-room with a fireplace and comfortable sofas convertible to single beds with excellent view of the swimming pool.
A stone-made arch leads to the dinning area and the fully equipped kitchen. There is also a spacious bedroom with a double and a single bed and a bathroom with a cabin (having hydro-massage, ham-am, perfume therapy).
Wooden stairs lead to the second bedroom with wooden floor (ontas) with a double bed and a sofa convertible to a single bed, overlooking a sun terrace with a panoramic view to the garden.
A wider choice is offered in Matalla, Mires, Tympaki which are small towns close to the village Kamilari.
